📖 Preface

This book has been written specifically for students preparing for the Cambridge O Level Additional Mathematics examination (Syllabus 4037) for the 2025–2027 examination series. It is designed to be a comprehensive, self-contained textbook that covers the entire syllabus in a logical and accessible manner.

The 2025–2027 syllabus introduces several important changes, most notably:

• Paper 1 is now a non-calculator paper (2 hours, 80 marks)
• The topic "Coordinate Geometry of the Circle" has been added
• The topic "Indices and Surds" has been removed (now assumed knowledge from O Level)
• The calculus topic is now simply called "Calculus"
